Today economic times have forces many of us homeowners to become Do-It-Yourselfers when it come to our homes. My home was built in 1975 and the previous owners did do some updating to the house but it still needs to have some work done to it especially in the kitchen. My cabinets are currently painted green and the doors are made of MDF every dated in my opinion. I wanted a shaker style door in Cherry or Alder with a medium walnut stain. Well the quotes I got for someone to come in and do the work for me I couldn't afford so I knew if I wanted my kitchen updated I would have to learn how to do it myself. After checking out many companies out, I found Taylor Cabinet Door Company on the internet and figured their refacing method seemed the easiest by far to do so I called them and boy was I right in doing so. They instructed me on how to correctly measure my cabinet openings, had me send them overall pictures of my kitchen, answer some questions on hinges and 20 minutes later I had a quote. The pricing was right where I could afford it. My order was finalized the next day and 2-3 weeks later my order arrived. The doors and drawer fronts were top quality and the finish was exactly what I wanted. We started the reface the next weekend and in less that a week we were done. My best friend was so impressed with the reface we did that she didn't believe me when I told her we did the work ourselves. Thanks to them I am the talk of the neighborhood at least for this week.
Thank you
